So. Amongst the possibilities churned out by the peanut butter cup algorithm is “AI and Creativity.” As in the SNL skit: AI and creativity is neither AI nor creative. Talk amongst yourselves. IoW, carry on, brave Elysians. (Lord have mercy)
I have some suggestions for the content of this BS. It’s a cheap joke, I know. But something about this needs to be inexpensive. Here are some course titles and additional tidbits as I have them. So here we go with the “Ai and CreatiVity” degree: ACV.
Impractical Courses
ACV 451: Treacherous Water Crossings (cross-listed with TWC 11011 and delivered by the excellent faculty of that department)

Prof. Wade N. Ford, Dr. Isla Drift, Prof. Rip Tydes, Prof. Dr. Marina Del Riff (Chair), Assistant Prof. Cordelia Knot, Professor Emerita Mael Strom
ACV 42: Planetary Computation (course description: Say “What’s the question?” Again.) This course is still coming together. Here are our notes.

ACV 007: What’s in the Bin Folder? This course is cross-listed with Religious Studies and is taught by their Disguised Professor of Cardinal Numerology. (Faculty pic below)

Practically Courses
ACV 80s: Orchestral Maneuvers on Zoom (course is taught asynchronously on zoom). In the committee we’ve been calling this one OMzzzzz. Here’s a lesson plan.

ACV 29: People without movie cameras. It’s experiential learning on the experience of getting screwed by AI. Here’s a photo from when we ran it as a special topics course.

ACV 1234: Temporal Mechanics (course description: Be prompt. This course starts on time. n.b. This course also counts as ACV 24 and ACV 451BC). We are still workshopping our promotional materials for this one.
