After ten years, I’ve moved from typepad to wordpress. I won’t bore you with the story, but I’m still working on migrating my disqus-based comments. Hopefully that will all be worked out this weekend.

I’ll just say that the comments are sort of working now. When I moved over, all the posts had the comments turned off. I can turn them back on, but there are over 1000 posts. I did turn on the posts for the last year, so hopefully they will show up (though oddly some aren’t and I’m not sure why yet.)

Congratulations on successfully getting over from Typepad to WordPress.
Just drop Disqus and move to our Thoughtful Comments. It will save you endless grief and your comments will be your own.
