As we do each semester, this weekend my colleagues and I went to the college’s Adirondack camp at Raquette Lake. The culminating event of the weekend is an evening performance in which everyone participates. So here I am reading the little piece I wrote on Saturday.

Well done. Thanks for that. I actually grew up in Alamogordo, NM and I forget how others see it at times.

Thanks Dave. I lived in Las Cruces for two years and find myself out in T or C every year visiting the in-laws. Growing up in the Northeast, I found NM a very interesting experience, to say the least.
