Prospective Graduate Students

A review of the material on this site, especially the most recent blog posts, will give you a sense of where my most current work is heading. Basically though my focus is a new materialist, posthuman study of artificial intelligence. This includes cross-disciplinary research in areas of computer science, psychology, law, philosophy and many other fields that have taken up this important subject. Closer to home in a disciplinary sense I work with digital rhetoric, media infrastructure studies, critical data studies, and media archeology.

My research does not include Fine Arts or Arts Practice.

If you are a DMS graduate student or prospective DMS graduate student, I am not available to work with you. I do not teach graduate courses for DMS. If you are interested in pursuing the kinds of work I do, I suggest you apply elsewhere.
